He spent much of his academic career tutoring other students in physics and calculus, prepping his resume with real-world experience. His career took him to the Los Angeles Scientific Center, where he worked as an engineering student while completing various projects, such as the mathematical modeling of highly complex surfaces.

Although he greatly enjoyed this position and still holds a profound passion for science and computers, Michael Roofian then began to explore the area of law. As his three decades in this line of work show, this career shift ended up being a rewarding decision. In the beginning stages of this career shift, Michael worked various jobs in the field of law before landing on a specialty in his current niche in the personal injury sector. In 1991, he established the Los Angeles and San Diego offices of Michael Roofian and Associates, APC. He has now crafted a meaningful presence in this challenging line of work and has worked out complex situations that his clients found themselves in.

Because of his interactions with disabled clients and veterans, Michael has contributed to learning more about their mental health and supporting them in their post-service lives. He hopes to continue partnering with individuals and charities that uplift these voices and provide resources for healing from these barriers.
